Since we are sharing tips on how you can get your financial life in order, I thought I could share books about money that I have read that were helpful for me.

  1. Arese Ugwu – Smart Money Woman

When I picked it up I thought it was a non fiction book but it turned to be a story of a girl called Zuri, and her friends, and their money management habits. There is a lot of funny times and relationship in this book but it was mainly focused on financial management, and it also showed step by step how Zuri got her financial life in order.

It was actually from this book that I learned to document my expenses and prepare a budget.

2. Jen Sincero – You are a badass at making money

When I read this book I realized how some of my mindsets are still holding me back, like thinking having money is evil. And judging rich people for having money. Or being angry at them for that.

So I recommend this book for a change of your mindset when it comes to money.

I hope you read while knowing that you don’t have to agree with everything that’s been said, take time and digest things. It’s okay if the advices in books are not for you or do not sit right with your spirit.
